This place is dipping worse than the crypto market cap.

Does anyone have a backbone or their own opinion on reddit anymore? The majority apparently don’t (not directed at every one because there are a lot of great posters around that sadly appear to be slowly dropping off). This subreddit and the daily threads have turned into a horde of followers that struggle to think for themselves. When TRX and XVG were going up people were praising them acting like they were legit projects. When they go down they turn on them. For months I’ve seen the same thing happen with other projects like NEO, VEN, NANO, ETH, ICX…list goes on. It’s not all about price. Sure most of us want to make money but turning on a project because it drops/rises is pathetic.Reddit at the moment is: “this project is awesome!” when the price is going up. “this project is shit!” when the price is going down. There is nothing wrong with criticizing a project or praising an improvement, but flipping your sentiment based on the opinion of others or just because the project you hold didn’t go up 5% and give you a hit of dopamine today is pathetic.People who lurk and those new to crypto probably open up reddit, sell everything and run for the hills. “early adopters here for the tech/money” or weak-minded kids with ADHD? It appears to be the later. I lurked this sub in Oct/Nov and enjoyed reading the sub. Educational posts and redditers willing to help the newer posters understand everything more. Which is exactly what we should be doing. Being mature and helping people make sense of it (well at the very least the fundamentals around wallets, sats value, cutting out fees etc.). Instead of complaining that a team isn’t marketing go out and do something yourself, get behind the project you follow and look at projects that have ambassador programs. Speak to a friend, organise a meetup and your local community hall or at your university/college. Instead of complaining do something useful. Again it’s okay to constructively criticize because discussion is good, but the one’s crying aren’t doing a thing except making this place worse. We should be helping crypto not being a blight on it!
